Walmart agrees to pay $100 million to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over its Spark Driver app. The lawsuit alleges that Walmart engaged in deceptive practices by misleading drivers about earnings and tips. The settlement includes $79 million to compensate drivers (of which $62.8 million has already been paid), $10 million paid to the FTC, and $11 million paid to 11 states. Walmart neither admits nor denies these allegations.
