Previously, the company announced an expansion of its partnership with Mastercard to integrate SoFi's proprietary stablecoin SoFiUSD into Mastercard's global payment network for settlement. The stablecoin is issued by SoFi Bank, which is regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and will also become part of Mastercard's Multi-Token Network. CEO Anthony Noto purchased approximately $1 million worth of SoFi shares. In pre-market trading, SoFi stock further rose by 3.33%, to $19.23.
