Crypto界网 March 4 News, according to Reuters citing sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI is considering signing a contract with NATO to deploy AI technology on its "non-classified" networks. This comes after the company recently reached an agreement with the Pentagon to provide models for the U.S. Department of Defense's classified networks. The report states that Sam Altman mentioned "all NATO classified networks" in an internal meeting, but a spokesperson later clarified it was "non-classified networks." OpenAI updated its statement, saying its systems must not be "intentionally used for domestic surveillance of U.S. citizens," and the Pentagon confirmed that related services will not be provided to intelligence agencies like the NSA. Anthropic was removed from related collaborations by the U.S. government for refusing to provide technology for large-scale domestic surveillance and fully autonomous weapons.
