They reminded that the document prohibits the use of force against "the territorial integrity or political independence of any state."
"These attacks, followed by Iran's retaliatory strikes across the region, are contrary to the UN Charter," the statement said.
During the investigation, UN experts found that "the population of Iran is caught between a large-scale military campaign," which could last several weeks, and the government in Tehran, "which has a long history of human rights violations."
