According to reports from Amazon, by 2025, over 1.3 billion items worldwide will be delivered on the same day or the next day, with Prime membership delivery speeds once again setting new records. Among these, more than 8 billion items on Amazon US will be delivered on the same day or the next day, an increase of over 30% compared to last year. In Europe, the UK, Germany, France, and Spain will see over 2.4 billion items delivered on the same day or the next day. Emerging markets such as Brazil, the Middle East, and Australia are also experiencing rapid growth in fast delivery items.

Amazon stated that behind this achievement is its continuous innovation in building a global intelligent supply chain network, deep application of artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technologies like Prime Air drone delivery. These advancements have opened efficient channels for Amazon sellers, especially cross-border sellers, to reach high-quality consumers worldwide.

In China, by the end of 2025, Amazon launched the “Next Generation Global Selling” initiative and announced the establishment of the world’s first Amazon Global Smart Hub Warehouse (GWD) in Shenzhen, which will fully open in March 2026. Sellers only need to stock their products in local warehouses to list and sell on Amazon sites. Through Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), cross-border transportation seamlessly connects to Amazon’s FBA network, gradually realizing “one inventory pool supplying the whole world.”

It is reported that in 2025, Chinese sellers sold billions of items through Amazon global sites, with new product selections increasing by nearly 25% compared to the same period last year.

Amazon stated that in the future, with the development and promotion of AI, robotics, and drone delivery technologies, as well as continuous upgrades to Amazon’s global intelligent logistics network, Amazon is building an efficient “from local warehouses to global customers” channel for cross-border sellers.
