Recently, regarding the controversy over some stores displaying Women’s Day posters, the Yonghui Supermarket customer service account on Xiaohongshu responded in the comments section of related posts. This exposed serious flaws in the company’s copyright compliance processes and a lack of respect for creators. All involved materials have been taken down and rectified.

On March 4th, the Guangdong Yonghui Supermarket Xiaohongshu account stated: “Regarding the recent behavior during our store decoration contest, where a single store used and modified original Women’s Day themed posters without authorization, Yonghui Supermarket sincerely apologizes to the original creators and the public. We deeply recognize that this behavior not only infringes on the copyright of the original work but also contradicts the core message of the Women’s Day posters. It caused trouble and negative impact to the original creators. We feel deeply responsible and uneasy about this.”

The account also explained that after the incident, the company immediately ordered the involved stores to stop using the related materials and conducted a comprehensive review and rectification of internal copyright review and event management processes. Moving forward, we will further strictly implement intellectual property management systems, strengthen copyright awareness among all staff, and resolutely prevent such infringement issues from happening again.
