Spokesperson He Yadong of the Ministry of Commerce said that the China-U.S. economic and trade teams maintain close communication through the economic and trade consultation mechanism at all levels, exchanging views in a timely manner on implementing the consensus reached by the two heads of state at the Busan summit and the outcomes of the Kuala Lumpur economic and trade consultations, as well as addressing each other’s concerns in the economic and trade fields. China is willing to work with the U.S., following the consensus reached by the two heads of state and during their calls, to uphold the principles of equality, respect, and mutual benefit, strengthen dialogue and communication, properly manage differences, expand practical cooperation, and promote the healthy, stable, and sustainable development of China-U.S. economic and trade relations.
