【Angle Protocol Community Approves Ordered Shutdown of EURA and USDA Stablecoins】
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Angle Protocol community has approved Proposal AIP-112 to orderly shut down EURA and USDA stablecoins during a one-year transition period. Users can cross back their EURA and USDA tokens from various chains to Ethereum via the Angle App before March 1, 2027, and exchange them 1:1 for EURC and USDC. VaultManager positions can be closed to retrieve collateral. After the transition period ends, the protocol will cease operations, and EURA and USDA may become depegged; remaining reserves will be recovered by multi-signature wallets and a proportional Merkle airdrop will be made to unredeemed token holders on Ethereum. Users will have a one-year claim window after the airdrop goes live.
