According to a report by Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli forces launched airstrikes and shelling across multiple areas in Lebanon today, and conducted ground operations in some southern border regions. The town of Shyam in southern Lebanon was under continuous shelling, with Israeli troops entering the town and deploying forces near detention facilities. The report states that the Israeli attacks mainly targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, as well as southern and eastern regions, with multiple missiles and cluster bombs falling into civilian areas. Shelling also affected several towns, causing varying degrees of damage to civilian buildings and commercial facilities. Recently, cross-border clashes between Hezbollah and Israel have been frequent, with Israel significantly increasing airstrikes and shelling in southern, eastern Lebanon, and around the capital. Many civilian structures and infrastructure have been damaged to varying extents, resulting in civilian casualties and large-scale displacement. The security situation continues to deteriorate.
