Johnson Controls (JCI) has announced the acquisition of Alloy Enterprises, a Boston-based company specializing in advanced thermal management platforms for high-performance data centers. This acquisition aims to strengthen Johnson Controls’ position and capabilities in the rapidly growing data center cooling market. Alloy Enterprises’ proprietary technology, which includes advanced direct liquid cooling components, improves thermal management efficiency and reduces energy use, complementing Johnson Controls’ existing cooling solutions.
