📈 📊 💹🕯️🚀 🐶 💵 ⏳🔥🎯 💚

Recently, I received a 10 USDT position voucher from our exchange Gate and decided to use it for practice. I activated it and opened a long position on the Doge/USDT pair. Honestly, I am still learning to understand the market, so I didn’t want to be greedy and set my take-profit just a few cents higher. My logic is simple: a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I can't yet accurately predict how much profit a movement might generate, so I choose caution. I am always very attentive and careful, especially with new information for myself. As a result, my take-profit was triggered, the position closed in profit, and I earned. And the most interesting part — after that, the market sharply fell again, so if I had waited for more, I could have ended up with nothing. These are some real "see-saws" or "hills," and it’s exciting!

I traded the Doge coin — a crypto asset often called a meme coin because of its origins and community. It was paired with USDT — a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, which allows fixing the result in a more stable equivalent. I noticed that the market is currently behaving very emotionally: many sharp movements, quick impulses upward, and equally quick pullbacks downward. On the 15-minute chart, you can see the short-term struggle between buyers and sellers; on the hourly chart — the formation of a local trend; and the daily chart shows the overall mood. The one-minute timeframe, in my opinion, more confuses than helps because it doesn’t provide a complete understanding of the direction. These are my personal observations, but they help me not to panic.

When the price approaches the liquidation threshold, my heart really stops. You look at the chart and mentally pray: just not lower, please, turn around. Sometimes, there’s a bounce — like a small miracle happening before your eyes. But I’ve also noticed a pattern: when I go long — the market seems to go down on purpose, and when I think about shorting — it starts to rise. Of course, these are emotions, but psychology plays a huge role in trading. That’s why I am currently working more on discipline than on chasing big profits. A small gain is better for me than a big loss and disappointment.

Looking deeper into the market overview, I highlight a few important points:
• First, trading volume — if it increases along with the price, the movement has more strength;
• Second, support and resistance levels — often where rebounds happen;
• Third, the overall market sentiment, which can be felt through news and the behavior of the majority;
• Fourth, personal risk management — how much I am willing to lose without harm to myself;
• Fifth, patience and a cool head.
I understand that the market is not a casino but a system where logic, strategy, and statistics work. And if approached wisely, even a beginner can gradually learn to make balanced decisions.

I also participated in the "Learn and Earn" training on Gate and received another voucher for 20 USDT. For me, this is not just a bonus but an opportunity to learn without significant risk to my own funds. I appreciate that the exchange creates such opportunities, especially in difficult times. My main rule now is to learn, observe, analyze, and only then act. If I don’t know something — it’s better to ask more experienced traders or contact support or educational materials. With desire, everything will definitely work out. I wish Gate prosperity, and all traders — stable profits and wise decisions.

P.S. By the way, I found out that Doge (Dogecoin) is a coin, not a token.
In the world of cryptocurrencies, there is an important difference between these concepts.

Reference:
Coin (coin) — a crypto asset that has its own independent blockchain network. Dogecoin operates on its own Proof-of-Work blockchain network, separate from other projects, so it is considered a coin.
Token (token) — a digital asset that exists on someone else’s blockchain (for example, Ethereum or BNB Chain). Tokens depend on the rules and mechanisms of the network on which they are created.
Long (Long) — a position betting on the price increase; we buy an asset expecting it to appreciate.
Short (Short) — a position betting on the decline; profit is possible if the price falls.
Take-Profit (Take-Profit) — a pre-set price level at which profit is automatically secured.
Liquidation — forced closing of a position by the exchange due to insufficient collateral.
Stablecoin — a cryptocurrency with a stable price, usually pegged to fiat currency.
Timeframe — the time interval of the chart (1 minute, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, etc.).
