Canada has confirmed that it does not intend to sign any free trade agreement with China.
Prime Minister Mark Carney directly addressed #ترامب 's warning after the United States threatened to impose a 100% tariff on all Canadian goods if Canada signed an agreement with Beijing.
Trump accused Canada of becoming a "transit hub" for Chinese exports to the United States.
Carney reaffirmed Canada's commitment to the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (#CUSMA ), which requires notifying involved parties before entering into any trade agreements with "non-market economies" like China.
