Real estate tokenization has been gaining traction in DeFi, but some skepticism is warranted. The core issue? Subjective valuations become a breeding ground for bad actors—without proper due diligence frameworks, investors face serious exploitation risks. When physical assets get tokenized, the disconnect between on-chain data and real-world value opens doors for potential fraud. Many projects lack transparent pricing mechanisms, making it hard to verify legitimacy. How do you assess the viability of these tokenized asset models in the current market landscape?

The disconnect between on-chain data and real-world asset values is truly remarkable, which is why so many projects fail.

It's the same old story of real estate tokenization... Basically, just moving unfinished buildings onto the blockchain.

Real estate token... to put it simply, it's just talk on paper. It's a miracle if on-chain data can match real estate prices.

To be honest, most of these RWA projects are just paper talk now. On-chain data and actual property value don't match at all. Tokenizing real estate sounds fancy, but in reality, it just opens the door for scammers, and valuation is entirely at one person's discretion. I've seen all those so-called transparent projects, and it's the same trick. You can't verify how much those properties are really worth.

The idea of putting real property ownership on the blockchain is, frankly, just talk on paper. The data on the chain looks good, but what about the actual house? --- Once again, a bunch of project teams boasting, with a terrible pricing mechanism—how can you trust it? --- Wait, if this thing could really solve valuation issues, it would have exploded long ago... Now it's just nonsense. --- NGL, most of these RWA projects are just rebranded scams; the information gap between on-chain and off-chain is too large. --- The biggest problem with putting physical assets on the chain is that no one dares to guarantee it. Who will vouch that the building is really worth that price? --- It sounds high-end, but it's actually just a new trick to whitewash traditional finance.

To be honest, I don't dare to touch these real estate token projects; the waters are too deep.
