#主流山寨之我见#
The following are purely personal subjective opinions, just to spark some ideas. Welcome all heroes and heroines to come and criticize fiercely.
Looking at these bouncing red and green K-lines on the exchange, the scenery is quite different from what we see in traditional stock markets or futures markets.
Simply and crudely dividing these assets into mainstream and imitation, or some narrow-minded holders might distinguish them as Bitcoin and others! Essentially, all participants are making trading decisions based on certain biases. Even the disagreements between bullish and bearish views are rooted in these biases; it’s only through these biases that trades are made. This topic has deviated a bit, so I’ll leave it here for now.
The overall trend of mainstream coins has become more unified, beginning to form a sector similar to a stock market sector. Mainstream is like blue-chip stocks in the market—more and more bloated, but with a large size, with big players settling in and holding strategic positions. Even on weekends, they seem to be closed, as the theoretical 24/7 trading doesn’t really hold in practice. Rest on weekends when needed; for the mainstream coins, there’s rarely any trading value during the weekend.
Unlike stocks, where there are many different tiers of sectors, the crypto world is different. Outside the mainstream, it seems impossible to find other assets that can be grouped together as sectors for analysis. These various small gods take turns appearing; quoting Forrest Gump, you never know if the next chocolate will taste like shit or not. Oh, maybe I’m being a bit excessive—I’m just using some rhetoric.
Some of these imitation coins might be future pretenders pretending to be mainstream, but given my pessimistic view of human nature, I consider all these imitations to be garbage. I have no interest in forcing myself to guess which ones are like carp leaping over the dragon gate, ascending to heaven, or transforming from a black chicken into a phoenix. So, imitations are just imitations—things that can be grabbed and played with, grabbing one brings a minute of happiness; if you can’t grab it, you shouldn’t care at all.
The above statements also reflect that the strategies for mainstream and imitation coins can be different. Those interested in discussing can keep a long-term watch.
