Gold Old Cat: Gold Price Moves Strong as Expected, Mainly Low Pullbacks with Minor Corrections
Today’s market review: The predicted target of 4520-4550 last night has been perfectly achieved. Spot gold opened higher and continued to rise. Currently quoted at 4541.23, up 31.30 USD from yesterday’s close, with a high of 4544.98. The bullish trend fully aligns with expectations.
From a news perspective, market expectations of an earlier rate cut by the Federal Reserve continue to ferment. Coupled with further decline in US inflation data, this reinforces the easing outlook and becomes the core driver pushing gold prices higher. Meanwhile, geopolitical risk aversion also provides additional support for the bulls.
On the technical side, the 15-minute chart shows the price has successfully broken through the previous consolidation zone, forming a strong upward trend. The rally has not shown obvious divergence, and momentum remains sufficient. Although there is a short-term pullback demand, the overall upward pattern remains unchanged.
Therefore, today’s trading strategy continues to focus on low pullbacks. When the price retraces to the 4525-4530 area, look for opportunities. When the first resistance zone at 4550-4560 is touched, consider a minor correction strategy with a quick in-and-out approach.
