At the beginning of the year, Walrus Protocol has been active on the Sui chain. As a decentralized storage solution, this protocol handles large file distribution through erasure coding and aggregator technology, supporting the expansion needs of AI datasets, NFT resources, and various dApps. Interestingly, the Seal privacy layer encrypts data throughout the entire network, avoiding the risks associated with centralized storage. Coupled with the high availability and low latency brought by global node distribution, the entire architecture is quite comprehensive.

The recent protocol upgrade has optimized storage efficiency and significantly lowered transaction fees, making it easier for developers to build data-intensive applications. The ecosystem token $WAL plays multiple roles in this system—payment, staking, governance. As Sui deepens its efforts in AI infrastructure, the practical uses of this token are continuously expanding.

From a broader perspective, Walrus represents progress in the exploration of Web3 data storage. In the context of AI + blockchain, reliable decentralized storage infrastructure has indeed become a critical foundational element. This is why the Sui ecosystem’s investments and innovations in this area are worth paying attention to.

I have to say, Sui's gameplay is becoming more and more sophisticated. Walrus has really figured out the pain points of decentralized storage. Is the actual use case of $WAL expanding? Isn't this just a natural support for the token's value? Much more reliable than pure speculation. Will developers really come in after lowering transaction fees? The key still depends on whether the ecosystem scale can grow. Erasure coding combined with Seal privacy layer sounds good, but I wonder how stable the actual operation will be. Sui is taking AI infrastructure seriously. It feels like the entire chain is building an ecosystem around data infrastructure. With storage being a promising track, how are other public chains handling this? Are there more mature solutions? If this upgrade truly reduces costs, there might be new ways to use NFT storage. Whether Walrus can truly scale depends on whether there is real demand from application developers. Don't let it become just technological excess. The global node distribution sounds impressive, but I'm worried that once the node operation and maintenance costs increase later, no one will maintain it. $WAL's three-in-one design for payment, staking, and governance—I've understood this token economic model. Now just waiting for actual implementation and performance.

Can the Seal layer of encryption really hold up... I need to see the audit report to believe the combination of erasure coding + aggregator. Lower fees are good, but I’m more concerned about the possibility of reentrancy attacks. Has this architecture been thoroughly audited? Cheap transaction fees tend to attract hackers to cause trouble. Low developer barriers ≠ low security barriers. Does this logic hold? $WAL multi-role design is a bit complex... Payment + staking + governance all in one. Is there a risk of token economy overflow? Decentralized storage sounds impressive, but what if data is lost? The fault tolerance mechanism details of distributed nodes—haven’t seen through it.

Walrus is really making moves here, the Sui ecosystem feels like it has something special.

Transaction fees have dropped so much, developers really should start taking action. But regarding Seal Privacy, are there actually many users? The $WAL token design is quite interesting, with multiple roles, but could it be too complicated? Sui's move is quite strategic; AI infrastructure is indeed a breakthrough. Erasure coding distribution sounds impressive, but is it stable in practice? Decentralized storage is back again. Can Walrus break through this time? Global node distribution sounds good, but is the latency really low? Are there any data?

Walrus's move is indeed quite interesting, especially now that the transaction fees have decreased. With lower developer barriers, someone will really come to build.

It's another storage track. Walrus's recent fee structure is indeed quite interesting.

The recent reduction in fees is definitely aimed at attracting developers. To be honest, the design of the Seal privacy layer is quite clever; finally, someone got it right. The $WAL token design is okay, but it depends on whether the actual usage volume can keep up with the hype. Sui's layout in storage is deeper than I imagined. Is all this data encryption done just for this? Decentralized storage has been talked about for so many years; Walrus is one of the serious players. The erasure coding technology used here is indeed clever, but the key is whether the developer ecosystem can grow. The demand for AI datasets is real; I am optimistic about this direction. $WAL can be used for payments, staking, and governance—multi-functionality is quite good. The barrier has been lowered, but is the ecosystem deep enough? That’s the real question. Sui's strategy is quite interesting; the combination of storage + AI is a powerful move.

To be honest, Walrus's move this time is okay, but I'm more concerned about whether the $WAL token can really hold its price. If it can really be cheap, then developers might actually enter the market. However, this encryption distribution setup looks a bit complicated to me. Sui's layout in storage is indeed impressive, but I'm just worried that it might end up being a mess in the end.
