#密码资产动态追踪 Why are so many people losing money in the crypto market? Simply put, they treat the crypto market like a casino, relying on emotions and stories as investment basis.

Most people's mistakes are the same—chasing hot topics, following trends, using high leverage—but they never take the time to understand the essence of projects, calculate valuations, or study macro cycles. When the bull market starts, all kinds of narratives fill the sky, bubbles are blown huge, and a flood of capital rushes in, feeling like easy money. But once a bear market arrives, or a deep correction happens, those highly leveraged positions built on blind faith are wiped out by the market.

Investors who truly survive and make money do not rely on luck. Instead, they have frameworks and discipline—you need to know how to use reasonable leverage, diversify your portfolio, when to cut losses, and when to respect market cycles. The crypto market is so volatile that surviving first is the key to waiting for the next opportunity. This is the dividing line between mature investors and retail traders.

That's right, the guys around me who lost money, basically all went all-in with high leverage right from the start, just hearing a story and going all in, truly a gambler's mentality. Leverage is fun when it inflates like a bubble, but when it bursts, it's devastating. Living is much more important than making money, this is the hard truth. This is how it is in the industry, the bear market has stripped everyone of their underwear. I used to chase hot topics too, but now I've learned my lesson; frameworks and discipline are real, luck can't be relied on. Few people seriously study projects, most are just gambling on the next FOMO.

ngl this hits different when you've watched your tx fail at peak gwei... discipline & frameworks sounds nice until you're bleeding on a 100x position lmao

actually, the leverage problem here is just symptom of deeper incentive misalignment. think of it this way—when you're using 10x leverage, you're basically betting against volatility, ceteris paribus. but crypto markets? they're literally *designed* to test your risk tolerance. the pnl equation doesn't lie: most retail investors are operating with negative expected value from day one.

That's true, but ultimately, listeners still have to pay the tuition fee to truly understand.

Oh no, it's the same theory again. It's not wrong to say, but it's getting tiresome to hear. The key is that knowing is easy, doing is hard. --- Nine and a half out of ten leveraged traders are dead, it's that simple. --- No matter how good the framework is, it only counts if you survive the bear market. Staying alive is truly the first lesson. --- When chasing hot topics, everyone thinks they are a genius. It's only during the downturn that you realize what market education really means. --- The problem is that most people don't have the patience to study cycles; they just want to double their money quickly. They deserve it. --- Diversified allocation? Many people aren't even willing to cut losses, let alone allocate properly. --- The feeling of earning passively is indeed great, but after that, there's not enough money to cover hospital bills. --- Basically, it's a mindset issue. The temptation of quick money in the crypto world is too strong. --- People who have made big money have all experienced being cut in half; only those who survive are qualified to speak.
