Recently, a small detail that many people haven't noticed—many exchanges are optimizing their leaderboard ranking mechanisms. Taking a major exchange as an example, the latest approach is to replace the original influence-based overall ranking with a points system. If you want to stand out on the leaderboard, you now have to rely on points.

How are points calculated? Every day, your points are based on three factors: the number of content posts you publish on the leaderboard, user engagement heat, and related trading volume. Specifically, a single project’s trading can earn you 25 reward points, and each leaderboard can accumulate up to 340 points per day. The more points you gather, the higher your ranking naturally becomes—this straightforward logic encourages content quality and trading conversion rates.

For creators, this means that simply posting content is not enough; you need to find ways to make your content attractive and attract genuine trading activity to secure a spot on the leaderboard.

Another competitive game rule, in simple terms, is about supporting trading volume.

Basically, it still takes manipulating trades to make the list; this mechanism is a bit ruthless.

Haha, it's starting to get competitive again. The points system is just forcing everyone to do daily tasks. To put it simply, trading volume is what matters, and the content quality is just a trick to fool newcomers. 340 points cap? That's a bit stingy. Isn't this just making the top players even more dominant?

Coming back to scalp some wool? The exchange's tricks are so obvious, just finding ways to get you to place more orders. Constantly competing for rankings, isn't that tiring? Where's the true value? Forget it, I still have to play, who asked for the pressure to survive. Just posting isn't enough anymore; trading volume is what really matters. Now creators also have to become traders. What does the 340-point cap imply? Are they afraid someone will exploit their system? Haha. This points game is so annoying, there's always someone flooding to occupy spots.

If I had known about the points system earlier, I wouldn't have been posting nonsense every day... Changing the rules only now is really too late.

Another new trick to harvest retail investors again. The point system is just to make us keep an eye on trading volume and constantly seek attention.
