To be honest, these past few years have been exhausting trying to hustle in the crypto circle.

Recently, my company went bankrupt, leaving me with a mountain of debt. The friends and even relatives who used to revolve around me all changed their faces overnight. Those days of having to watch people's expressions before eating a meal, counting the last few bucks in my pocket, I’ve really had enough of them.
Half a month ago, I looked at the wildly jumping candlesticks on the screen and suddenly felt a surge of anger: to hell with analysis, to hell with technicals, let it be what it will be.
I took the last bit of money I had set aside for rent, didn’t even look at the price levels, and blindly swapped everything into Ethereum with my eyes closed. My mindset at that moment was to completely give up—worst case, I’ll deliver food, worst case, I’ll go back to zero. I turned off my phone, uninstalled the apps, and took a trip back to my hometown.
But fate, that thing, really likes to play jokes on you.
This morning, on a whim, I reinstalled the app and took a look. Damn, this isn’t just a rise, it’s a crazy surge.
Looking at the numbers bouncing on my account, my first reaction wasn’t excitement but laughter. I used to stay up red-eyed studying RSI, MACD, and all kinds of macro data, only to end up losing everything; now I’ve let go, stopped caring, and it actually gave me a huge surprise.
This wave of market movement taught me a few things:
1. The market is the ultimate judge of all disobedience: the more you try to predict precisely, the more it slaps you in the face; the more you go with the flow, the more you can hold on.
2. Human nature is too real: seeing the numbers double, those relatives who once looked down on me started tagging me again in the group chat. Haha, life is way more exciting than candlestick charts.
3. Luck is also part of strength: sometimes, choosing to “give up resistance” at that moment is actually the right rhythm.
Now I can finally enjoy a proper meal of braised pork without having to watch anyone’s face.
Finally, a piece of advice for my brothers: if you’re feeling overwhelmed and even want to give up, just stop for a moment and give yourself some space. Sometimes, wealth isn’t something you seek; it’s something that unexpectedly hits you.
This wave of ETH, did you hold on through skill, or like me, hold on by “giving up and letting it go”?
