According to OregonLive, Nike quietly sold its digital products subsidiary RTFKT (pronounced "Artifact") in December 2025, a company it acquired in 2021. RTFKT had previously announced that it would end its Web3 service operations in January 2025. Nike's Converse brand reported a 30% quarterly sales decline in December 2025. In a statement, Nike said that the sale of RTFKT marks the next chapter for the company and its community, and that it will continue to invest in launching innovative products and experiences in physical, digital, and virtual environments, but did not disclose specific buyers or transaction terms.
