Friends interested in Walrus should indeed understand the underlying risk exposure. The project itself has solid technical capabilities, but when viewed within the entire storage sector, competitors are also very active—Filecoin and Arweave are both pushing their respective upgrades, and the competition for market share is becoming increasingly fierce.

On the other hand, the project's growth is largely tied to the development pace of the Sui ecosystem. If the ecosystem's traffic growth does not meet expectations, there will be a chain reaction affecting the demand for protocol usage. Additionally, attention should be paid to token-level risks; large-scale unlocking windows could lead to selling pressure, which is especially prone to trigger in a bear market environment.

Overall, the technical fundamentals serve as a long-term safety net, but the current strategic layout should focus more on implementation progress and ecosystem collaboration, using these two aspects to hedge against market uncertainties. Being cautious and rational, rather than aggressive or reckless, is always the right approach.

Walrus technology is good, but it's really tied down too tightly to Sui. If the ecosystem can't grow, it's doomed...

To be honest, the Walrus thing has been blown out of proportion. The technology is indeed not bad, but it can't compete with Filecoin and Arweave lurking there. The storage sector's cake isn't as easy to cut as you might imagine. Traffic in the Sui ecosystem is the key to survival. If you can't keep up with the pace, no matter how awesome the project is, it's all for nothing. It seems like everyone hasn't fully understood this risk. And the unlocking pressure, tsk tsk. When the bear market hits, this thing can blow up in minutes. Being conservative is really the way to go.

Walrus technology is good, but relying on the Sui ecosystem is indeed quite nerve-wracking. If the ecosystem traffic drops, the entire protocol will be affected, and just thinking about this risk makes it hard to stay calm. Honestly, when it comes to deploying storage projects like this, instead of betting on technology, it's better to see if the ecosystem can really take off. Filecoin and Arweave are both watching closely. The wave of token unlocks and sell pressure could be the trigger if a bear market really hits. It's better to be cautious.

Basically, the technology is okay, but we can't compete with others. The Sui ecosystem still needs to keep up the effort, and the token unlocks are a hidden danger that must be closely monitored.
