Crypto Twitter might've been a poor design choice in retrospect. Looking back at how things unfolded in this space, the open nature of crypto social platforms ended up amplifying noise over signal. Everyone's shouting about their bags, shilling the next moonshot, or trying to build clout. The signal-to-noise ratio collapsed pretty quickly. Quality discussion gets drowned out by hype cycles, speculation, and constant drama. It's hard to find genuine technical insights or thoughtful analysis when the feed is flooded with rug pulls, pump-and-dump schemes, and influencer theatrics. The transparent, permissionless nature that was supposed to be crypto's strength became a weakness in community building. Turns out you do need moderation and structure for meaningful conversation to flourish. Just saying—maybe a less chaotic approach would've served the ecosystem better.
