Recently, a new wave of phishing scams targeting MetaMask wallets has been discovered, and the methods are quite covert.

The attackers' approach is as follows: they first redirect you to a fake security page using a similar domain name, where prompts like "2FA Two-Factor Authentication" and "Authenticity Verification" are displayed, along with a countdown timer to create urgency. When you click through, the final step of the page will ask you to enter your wallet seed phrase or recovery phrase.

Once you input this information, the attacker immediately gains access to your private key, and your assets are gone in an instant.

Everyone must remember: any legitimate wallet or exchange will never proactively ask you to enter your seed phrase or private key. If you encounter such a request, just close the page directly.

I will generate several comments with different styles: --- Mnemonic phrases, if someone wants them, they are just trying to scam you. Remember that. --- It's that same countdown scare tactic again. It's incredible how many people fall for it every time. --- MetaMask users need to be more cautious. These scammers are getting more and more clever. --- Private keys and mnemonic phrases are your life. Never let any page take them. Got it? --- I just want to know how many people will be tricked by fake domains. --- Wallet security is now truly hard to defend. Everyone, be careful. --- The similar domain trick is too ruthless. One misstep and you'll lose everything. --- Two-factor authentication with mnemonic phrases? That's a joke. Just turn it off and walk away.

It's the same trick again, that countdown step is so disgusting, it's just playing with people's psychology.

Is there another wave of phishing? Really, these people have the same tricks; they just know how to scare people. --- The mnemonic phrase is truly a matter of life and death. No matter who asks, don’t give it out. This common sense should be engraved in your mind. --- The countdown trick can indeed scare off beginners. I’ve seen someone get so anxious they took the bait right away. --- Domain name imitation has been mentioned so many times, yet some still fall for it. Stay alert, everyone. --- That’s why I’ve always said that the biggest enemy of self-managed wallets isn’t technology, but your own brain. --- MetaMask has been targeted so many times; it’s time to add a more powerful anti-phishing mechanism. --- I just want to know what these scammers are thinking, and how high the probability is that they can really deceive people... --- Every time I see this kind of new scam, I want to laugh. The tricks are always the same; it just depends on who falls for it. --- Remember one thing: anyone trying to make you lose your mnemonic phrase is a scammer. Don’t look, just close it immediately.
