Today's project scan: $ESIM
There are still so many DePIN and TG mini-app projects that haven't been cleared out, which is indeed a bit outrageous. Frankly speaking, many projects are just riding the wave of these concepts to generate hype; deep down, it's still the same old trick.
A closer look at the $ESIM project reveals where the problem lies — all team members are anonymous, and there's not a single founder willing to show their face publicly. What's even more heartbreaking is that the token distribution plan is vague; this lack of transparency is basically a prelude to a rug pull.
The eSIM track itself doesn't have any highlights. The project team even touts "no KYC" as a selling point, which is a clear sign they haven't understood the regulatory landscape. The lessons from history are right in front of us—do you really think project teams with such risks are unaware?
The last critical issue: the project has not yet launched TGE. I won't have to say more about what that means.
