Recently, I summarized Weber's sociological theory on Gemini and directly uploaded it to NotebookLM. Without adding any custom instructions, it automatically generated a presentation and infographics. Honestly, this process is really efficient. But it’s also because of this convenience that various fast-food AI-generated content are flooding the internet—quality varies widely and has become the norm.

On one hand, these tools indeed lower the barrier to content creation, allowing anyone to quickly generate seemingly professional PPTs and charts. On the other hand, a large amount of unrefined AI output is also eroding the quality of the content ecosystem. Just like marketing copy for certain phone brands—similar in form, but truly valuable content is becoming increasingly rare.

It feels like the current problem is no longer "Can AI generate," but rather "How to find truly worthwhile content among all these generated outputs."

Hey, this is really incredible. The cost of low-threshold access is an abundance of spam everywhere. To be honest, it still depends on human oversight; AI is just a tool. Using NotebookLM is indeed smooth, but now the screen is filled with these bulk-generated things. Instead of competing over generation speed, it's better to see who can produce truly useful content. Isn't this the price of content democratization? Quality will inevitably decline. I've wanted to say this for a while: the signal-to-noise ratio on the internet is getting more and more ridiculous. Ultimately, it still comes down to humans filtering; leave the work to AI, and AI will handle it.

I think, this is the feeling of a double-edged sword. Fast is fast, but after watching too much, it all feels the same, really tiring. Instead of competing over tools, why not compete over aesthetics? NotebookLM is indeed excellent, but I'm worried that everyone will use it to generate the same stuff. If this continues, content with original ideas will become a rare commodity.

This is the current dilemma: the better the tools, the worse the content becomes, and the signal-to-noise ratio drops sharply. No one is willing to spend time refining anymore; anyway, AI generates something that looks okay in three seconds. High-quality content is becoming increasingly scarce, turning into a high-value commodity. By the way, how did your Weber summary turn out? Does it really have insights, or is it just a bunch of template phrases? Actually, the scariest thing isn't AI-generated content itself, but that the entire ecosystem has become lazy, including us.

Haha, this is the current curse—tools are great, but they strain the eyes. Anyone can cut corners, but if this continues, our aesthetic standards will also decline. NotebookLM is indeed powerful, but garbage content is also coming along. Instead of blaming AI, it's better to learn how to filter; this is an essential skill in the age of information anxiety. It feels like quality has already become a scarce commodity. No matter how fast the same tricks are, it's all in vain. Truly good things now have to be discovered on your own; the price of laziness is being drowned out.

Hey, this is the current dilemma. The better the tools, the more the content becomes trash. Basically, it's still a problem of information overload, with junk content filling the entire feed. Quality filtering is the new scarce resource, even more difficult than content creation itself. One-click generation is satisfying, but it can be torturous to watch. Who can still tell which content is made with care and which is AI fast food? In a way, tools have democratized creation, but the threshold for taste has actually become higher.
