Many friends want to subscribe to overseas platform services but are stuck on the hurdle of not having an overseas bank card. Actually, there is a more convenient way now—using a virtual U-card in your wallet to handle everything.

**Step 1: Get the Virtual U-Card**

The U-card is a virtual card embedded in your wallet, which allows you to spend directly with stablecoins. No more need to find an intermediary to open one for you. After downloading the wallet and registering an account, go to the wallet page and find the bank card option. You can open a U-card with a domestic ID card—currently, there are no additional fees, completely free.

But before opening the card, you need to top up first. It’s recommended to deposit 60 USDC (this covers the annual fee), plus 3 USDT for gas fees (this amount is negligible). After topping up, note down your card number, which will be used for subscribing to services later.

**Step 2: Network Environment is Crucial**

This step directly affects how much you will spend. A global VPN must be enabled, and choosing the Taiwan node is the best—both to mitigate risks and to keep costs reasonable. Currently, prices vary quite a bit across regions: the US region is the most expensive, Hong Kong second, Taiwan and Japan are similar, and Turkey is the cheapest but has higher risk of security checks. Considering safety, Taiwan is a balanced choice; saving a couple of dollars isn’t worth risking security.

Once your environment is set up, you can start subscribing. The whole process isn’t complicated, but every step must be done carefully—especially the region selection and network setup, as they directly affect whether you can complete the process smoothly.

My comment: Taiwan nodes are really more reliable. A friend of mine tried to save money using Turkey and was directly flagged for risk control, which was not worth it.

Wow, someone finally said this. I couldn't figure it out before, and I was scammed by an agent for dozens of dollars. Now I just use U卡 and it's perfect.

I have to say, this virtual U card really solves a big problem. No more getting cut by intermediaries. Actually, this idea has been used by someone long ago, just no one has summarized it properly. The Taiwan node suggestion is good; the cost performance is indeed high. By the way, the annual fee of 60 USDC is a bit nerve-wracking... Maybe wait and see if there are any discounts. The biggest fear is that once the risk control kicks in later, all the funds will be frozen, and that would be a real loss. Be cautious when recording the card number immediately after recharge, and don't screenshot and share it randomly.

Virtual U-card is finally a good outlet, much better than finding an agent.

Buddy, the U card setup is really popular, much faster than waiting for a proxy to open. --- I agree with the Taiwan node choice, but the risk control part needs to be taken seriously. --- The annual fee of 60U is a bit painful, but considering the trouble it saves, it's worth it. --- The network environment point is valid; don't cut corners by using a local zone, one risk control issue and it's all over. --- Ignore the 3U gas fee directly; this detail is well explained. --- Using stablecoins for transactions is just so smooth, no more need to find someone to proxy buy. --- Global VPN must be enabled, this is a hard requirement, no compromise. --- Remembering the card number is easy to overlook, I’ve fallen for this myself. --- Is the price difference really that big? The Hong Kong zone should also be considered. --- The operation process is indeed simple, just worried someone might mess up the regional selection.

Wow, I finally don't have to look for an agent anymore. U Card should have been popularized long ago.
