You probably caught this too—check any viral post and the pattern's obvious. Massive like counts. Then you scroll into the comments and... crickets. Maybe a few exchanges, mostly people dunking on the original take. So here's the thing: if engagement numbers don't match the comment activity, who's actually clicking? The numbers don't add up. Bots? Algorithmic amplification? Shadow metrics? On decentralized platforms, at least the data's transparent. Traditional social media? That's a black box. The disconnect between vanity metrics and actual discourse reveals something worth questioning about how these platforms really work.

NGL, the number of likes and comments don't match at all. I've noticed this for a while; it seems like most of them are bots spamming.

Nah, this data was fake from the start, I've seen through it long ago. The number of likes and comments don't match, it's just standard operation. Centralized platforms operate this way; decentralization is more reliable. The old social media methods should have been phased out a long time ago, honestly.

The number of likes and comments are seriously inconsistent; this thing is indeed quite strange.

ngl this is the core pain point that Web3 needs to solve; the data black box of traditional platforms should have been broken long ago.
