Is it really that difficult to trade with a small capital? Not really. I’ve seen a complete novice start with 1200U and grow it to over 24,000U in three months, and it’s still steadily increasing. You might ask if this is luck—actually, it’s not. He follows my logic, which is the same system I used to grow my initial capital from over 8,000U to now.

**Divide your funds into three parts, always have a risk bottom line**
Split 1200U into three 400U portions. The first part is for intraday short-term trading, focusing on one opportunity per day, exiting promptly when the target is reached; no hesitation. The second part is for swing trading, taking a position every ten days or half a month, trading aggressively when the opportunity arises. The third part is for holding firmly, as a safety net, never touching it. Full positions often lead to margin calls—only by staying alive can you talk about making money.

**Most of the time in the crypto world is spent doing nothing**
80% of the time, the market is sideways. Random moves are just giving money to the market. When the trend is unclear, lie low; wait for the right opportunity to enter. When profits exceed 20% of your capital, take out 30% immediately to lock in gains. True experts don’t trade every day—they act when it’s right, riding two or three major market waves a year.

**Emotions are the biggest trap in trading**
Volatile assets like ETH require strict discipline. Set a stop-loss at 2%, cut losses immediately when hit—don’t hold onto false hope; lock in profits at 4% by reducing your position; never add to a losing position—don’t double down on mistakes. Let your money flow in an orderly manner, and don’t let emotions control your fingers.

Small capital isn’t scary; what’s scary is always trying to turn things around with a single shot. That 1200U can grow to over 51,000U by locking in risk and letting profits run—this is the system. If you’re still losing sleep over a few hundred U in fluctuations, unable to identify the trend direction, or manage your positions properly, it’s not luck you lack, but the determination to truly follow the rules.

To be honest, I've been using this three-part method for a long time, and the key is discipline. However, most people can't stick to it and start to act out of line after two weeks without any market movement.

That's right, the key is discipline. I used to be the type to go all-in, losing terribly. Only later did I realize that turning small amounts around requires sticking to this three-step method to stay steady.

Sounds good, but the key is still execution. Most people just finish reading and that's it.

Sounds good, but I always feel like this set of theories turns into a textbook for losing money when it’s in my hands...

Dividing into three parts is the foundation of risk diversification, otherwise you'll be taught a lesson by the market early on. Where are the people who are fully invested now? Probably still reflecting. Spending 80% of the time lying flat is the real skill; those who move recklessly are just giving money to the whales. I remember the 2% stop-loss figure, but when it comes to critical moments, I still find it hard to cut. Hearing that there are two or three major market waves a year sounds simple, but in practice, everyone wants to catch more waves. It seems there's no problem with this set of theories, but the issue is that most people simply can't execute them. The habit of locking in profits must be developed; otherwise, all gains are just paper wealth.

Basically, it's a mindset issue; most people simply can't follow through.
