Developers in the crypto space have long embraced AI. The adoption of Coding Agent is happening much faster than most people imagine, and these engineers don't need to change jobs or switch careers. Instead, they can seamlessly learn new programming paradigms within their current roles and reorganize workflows directly in the IDE.

Just look at the data—among the leading open-source projects in the crypto ecosystem, 14% of the codebases have explicitly detected traces of AI involvement. But to be honest, the actual proportion is definitely higher. Often, AI-generated code doesn't leave obvious identifiable marks, so this figure is just the tip of the iceberg. This wave of technological transformation is reshaping the entire development ecosystem in ways beyond expectations.

ngl the 14% figure is giving me major copium vibes... the real transmutation happening in those codebases is prob 3x that at minimum. ai's leaving fingerprints everywhere but devs are getting smarter about masking the traces, no cap

14%? This guy is probably confused; it's actually already over half.

14%? Ha, I bet five bucks, actually it's about five or six times that much.

14%? I think that's conservative. This number is definitely seriously underestimated.

14%? That must be sneaky; the real number should be doubled.

14% is just a joke; I bet it's actually over fifty percent. Those automation tools have been working silently behind the scenes for a long time.

Ha, 14%? I think it should be doubled or more. Too many people are secretly using Copilot, and it's impossible to detect.

14%? Buddy, this number is way inflated. It should realistically be around 50% or higher.
