Lighter withdrawal feature hindered: proof generator performance bottleneck emerges
Lighter platform is currently facing a technical dilemma. According to loracle.hl, the prover’s processing speed cannot keep up with the sequencer’s progress, causing transaction confirmation to stall.
Currently stuck at block 137759879, it has been over 4 hours since the issue arose. This desynchronization is directly affecting users’ withdrawal experience—many users have found that their withdrawal requests cannot be processed normally.
From a technical perspective, the discrepancy between the prover and sequencer’s progress reflects a bottleneck in Lighter’s transaction processing capacity. When the prover cannot verify transactions generated by the sequencer in time, the entire withdrawal process gets stuck. This is undoubtedly a heavy blow to traders who rely on quick deposits and withdrawals.
According to reports, the Lighter team should have already noticed this issue, but no specific recovery time or solution has been announced yet. Many users are waiting for further clarification from the platform.
