Today I asked A10 a question: What do you think about showing off wealth?
He was silent for half a minute and then said the following few sentences:
1. Money is a tool, flaunting wealth is letting the tool speak for you.
2. Among strangers, appearing wealthy is the quickest way to establish trust.
3. Showing off wealth ≠ actually being wealthy, but it can make your words automatically "gold-plated".
4. Poor people are more likely to let down their guard against rich people: "He is so wealthy, what could he want from me?"
5. The most ingenious advertisement is one that doesn't look like an advertisement—wealth is the best invisibility cloak.
6, as soon as you reveal your identity, some people start to doubt themselves; even turn around to attack those around them who "still don't have money".
In this society, many times what we recognize is not the person, but the "tool" on that person's body.
