#大户持仓动态 In late December, the security warning from the Ethereum community is worth noting for all coin holders. The recent phishing incident involving 50 million USDT has once again exposed the risks of the encryption world — those seemingly convenient Address ellipses actually provide an opportunity for hackers.

The suggestion given by the Ethereum Foundation on social platforms is very straightforward: stop using truncated addresses. Displaying the full address information may seem cumbersome, but it is currently the most direct way to protect yourself. Think about it, if the address is truncated, the format like 0x1234...5678 can easily be tampered with.

This reminder is especially important for users holding $ETH. When interacting with wallets and confirming transfers, be sure to check the complete address and don't rush. There are similar risks in the $BNB and $SOL ecosystems as well, so be cautious with each chain in the multi-chain era.

In simple terms, this incident is a reminder to everyone: security details often determine the life and death of assets. An improvement in a seemingly insignificant display method could block the next wave of phishing attacks.

5 million dollars lost just because of laziness in not checking the full Address? This is the battlefield, a minor detail mistake can lead to total defeat. I've suffered from this kind of loss in my early years, so now I prefer to spend an extra 30 seconds verifying the complete Address when transferring, the ellipsis is just a Hacker's assistant.

It's another pitfall of address truncation, losing 50 million USDT is truly outrageous. It seems I need to develop the habit of checking the full address.

50 million just disappeared, this is the price of not looking at the complete Address.

Another big case of 50 million has come, it's time to really learn a lesson. To put it simply, the issue of complete Address is the price of laziness. Using ellipses is indeed convenient, but when you really get clipped coupons, it's too late to regret. In the multi-chain era, we really need to pay attention; not every Wallet is reliable.

Here you are trying to trick me into seeing the complete Address again, do I really believe this time it can prevent phishing?

Only after losing 50 million did I remember to check the complete Address, this is Web3 --- Another bloody lesson, really don't trust ellipses --- I said it, too lazy to look at a few more digits, Wallet got completely emptied --- The most annoying thing in the multi-chain era is this, have to be very careful with each chain --- Can you really cut corners with something like an Address? Fortunately, I've always verified the complete one --- Looks like I have to be more cautious with copy-pasting in the future, 50 million, man --- The design of truncating Addresses really opened a backdoor for Hackers --- With the phishing incident, how many people have learned to check the complete Address?

I lost 50 million and it's all my fault for being greedy. I really shouldn't skimp on things like checking the Address.
