✍️ My view on $USTC — imagining the system is working “with limitations”
Sometimes assets appear on the market that resemble people who have gone through severe trials. Those who have lost much, but have not disappeared. USTC is just such a token.
It's no longer the stablecoin it dreamed of being. Its model is broken, the ecosystem has collapsed, trust has vanished. It’s like a person who, after a serious injury, must learn to walk again — slowly, awkwardly, but still moving forward.
And what do we see today?
USTC is still alive. And even growing.
Not because it has become stronger.
But because it has learned to live with limitations.
It doesn’t play the role it once dreamed of.
It relies on what little remains: liquidity, fees, trading pairs on exchanges.
It moves in fits and starts — just like a person who has to struggle for every step.
A 10% increase is not a return to former glory.
It’s a small step forward in spite of the past.
And there’s a lesson here for investors:
👉 what matters is not what an asset was yesterday, but what it’s capable of being today — even if its path is limited.
👉 it’s important to see what survives thanks to demand, and what is holding on only by hope.
USTC is not a story about recovery.
It’s a story about survival.
And the market does exactly as much as its “physical condition” allows.
