Historically, strong inflows from institutions (the green spikes) have been key drivers behind BTC’s major uptrends. But as shown in the chart below, those inflows have now nearly vanished.
This doesn’t necessarily mean a crash — rather, it shows that smart money is waiting, possibly eyeing better entry levels or more market clarity. Institutions often accumulate when volatility fades and exit when retail enthusiasm peaks.
