Gate Ventures, the investment arm of the Gate platform, announced its acquisition of the decentralized perpetual contracts platform ADEN (Perp DEX) as part of its "All in Web3" strategy.
ADEN is the third largest decentralized perpetual contracts platform in the world, with a monthly trading volume exceeding $20 billion and more than 200,000 traders.
Under the deal, ADEN will be transferred to operate on Gate's Gate Layer Chain (Layer 2), built on OP Stack and EVM-compatible, to take advantage of its features such as speed, low cost, and interoperability across networks.
ADEN is now integrated into the "Gate Perp DEX" product, which offers over 447 perpetual contract markets with leverage of up to 125×, and supports deposits and withdrawals across multiple networks.
