In 2013, Jiu'er, then a rookie in the workplace, resigned in anger after experiencing harassment. Afterwards, by a twist of fate, she entered the blockchain industry and became a customer service representative at BitC.
BitC is the predecessor of Gate.io. Her time at BitC was happy and fulfilling, but in 2015, due to poor market conditions, Jiu'er felt the need to seek growth elsewhere and chose to resign.
Over the years, Jiu'er made rapid progress. Starting from customer service, she advanced to market operations, then became CMO of Silver Chain Technology, and head of the aelf community. She has been involved in multiple projects and communities, demonstrating outstanding abilities and rich experience.
In 2019, after years of experience in the crypto world, Jiu'er, now seasoned, decided to return to the struggling Gate.io. She sent a WeChat message to Gate.io founder Han Lin: "Boss, are you still short-staffed? I want to come back and work with you." After that, Jiu'er left her previous employer, aelf, and returned to Gate.io.
Upon returning to Gate.io, Jiu'er helped the team actively participate in major industry events, from Bitcoin halving, the March 12震荡, to FIL and DeFi hot topics—almost no crypto trend was missed. She also opened chat rooms, news updates, live streams, and other interactive sections to increase engagement with users.
In addition, Jiu'er completed the promotion of GateChain’s smart contract cross-chain ecosystem, launched DeFi projects, and connected with Labs incubators among many other major initiatives. Currently, she has become a partner at Gate.io, playing a crucial role in the company's development.
