Coinbase will support the transition of Polkadot and Kusama to the Asset Hub network.
Odaily News Coinbase announced that the Polkadot and Kusama networks are transitioning from the current Relay Chain network to the Asset Hub network. Coinbase will support this migration, and users' KSM and DOT tokens from the Relay Chain network will be automatically migrated to the Asset Hub network. The Kusama upgrade is expected to take place on October 7, 2025, and the Polkadot upgrade is scheduled for November 4, 2025. Before the migration: - The sending and receiving functions for Kusama will be temporarily disabled from October 6 to 8; - The sending and receiving functions for Polkadot will be disabled from November 3 to 5; - The staking and unstaking functions for Polkadot will be disabled during November 3 to 5.
