BlockBeats news, on August 4, WEEX announced that it has completed the routine destruction of the platform token WEEX Token (WXT) for the second quarter of 2025, with a total destruction of 60,509,555 WXT, valued at 1,873,436 USD (calculated based on the market price on the day of destruction). As of now, a total of 3 rounds of destruction have been conducted for WXT, with a cumulative destruction amount of 4,124,203,823 WXT. After this destruction, the total supply of WXT is 5,875,796,177 WXT. Meanwhile, WEEX has launched a million WXT airdrop rewards event: during the period (8/1 0:00 - 8/5 23:59 UTC+8), if the WXT holdings are maintained at ≥ 5,000 coins, users can receive an airdrop of 50 WXT. New users (referring to users who conduct contract trading for the first time during the event period) will have doubled rewards; for every increase of 1,000 coins in the net holdings of WXT during the event period, users can receive a random airdrop of 5-30 WXT, with a maximum of 300 WXT per user; for every 10,000 U in contract trading volume completed during the event period, users can receive a random airdrop of 10-30 WXT, with a maximum of 300 WXT per user.
