【Coin Circle】Cross-chain interoperability protocol Owlto Finance released the complete tokenomics of the OWL token today. As the core token of the multi-chain ecosystem, OWL carries multiple functions including protocol governance, revenue distribution, and cross-chain transaction fee discounts.

From the token allocation perspective, the initial circulation is set at 16.5%, which is a relatively aggressive ratio. How exactly is it allocated? Airdrops take up the bulk, with 15% going directly to community users, 22% reserved for ecosystem development, and 10.33% used for ecosystem incentives. Marketing, liquidity, and exchange listing each account for 2.5%, 7.5%, and 7%. Investment firms receive 15.67%, the team 15%, and advisors 5%.

It’s worth noting that the latter three categories (investors, team, advisors) all have a 12-month lockup period—this design is quite thoughtful. It not only aligns the interests of core participants with the project’s long-term growth, but also avoids the risk of dumping upon launch. From the token release mechanism perspective, Owlto aims to enable users, developers, and capital to flow freely across the multi-chain network through this design, using incentives to drive ecosystem activity.
